We're Back!


Well, we're off again on the second part of our adventure! We left with World Outreach Church early this (Saturday) morning -- in the wee hours! We all gathered at the church at 3 am and headed to the Nashville Airport for our flight out at 6ish -- it was too early to remember the time exactly.

We will be arriving in Guatemala City this afternoon and will begin the LONG drive to Chichicastenango. We will be working with the WOC team for a week before starting our work with John and Sharon Harvey of ASELSI. Right now, there are 11 of us who will be working with the Mayans in the mountains of Guatemala.

We are looking forward to being back in the country and seeing our friends again. Again, thank you so much for your support and your prayers. We are looking forward to seeing what the Lord will be doing in this next month.

We promise that we will soon have new photos for you.

The new driveway is paved with a lovely garden in the middle. We remembered when the entrance was simply VERY HARD dirt.

This is one of the trees which was planted in the four holes our team dug in the hard ground around the building. According to Miguel, the trees are very healthy.

The new pavement goes to the front door now, with planters in front of the porch. It's very lovely. You can see the palm tree planted in one of the four holes we dug last May.
